    Default Always no visit

I am getting back to you because there are still no visits to my Swiss website, and I really don't know what to do anymore. The site's DR has increased from 12 to 21, but still nothing. Very few keywords are being taken into account. I don't know if I should continue working on link building ?

DR is largely irrelevant, it's just a measure of how much link strength ahrefs thinks you have. It's nothing to do with google or the quality of the links.

You could have a DR90 site with zero traffic or a DR10 site with 100k visitors a month.

There's probably a rough correlation between DR and traffic if you looked at all the sites on the web, but looking at the DR of one specific site tells you nothing.

Yes, you are right, my Belgian site with a DR of 2 gets more visits than the Swiss one with a DR of 21. I don't understand Google anymore, pfft it was easier to launch a site in 2010

    According to Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Switzerland
French is spoken by 22.9% of the Swiss population, including regional French dialects.

Perhaps it would be worth translating your websites into German and possibly into Italian and English in the future?

From what I can see Swiss casinos are in English, French, German and Italian. Of which English happens to be the main one (but maybe it's geographic targeting because I don't access these sites from Switzerland)

If the website already has some authority, perhaps such a translation can quickly gain a good position in the search engine.
You can use DEEPL for translation, which when it comes to European languages is really great and often better than human translation.

    I would do it first.

Indeed, I think you're right. I've been hesitating for a while to translate the site into three languages, but maybe that's the solution

There must be more there than just a language barrier. Is your content helpful and well redacted? Are your internal links good? Are your metrics good from what traffic you have or is the bounce rate close to 100? It might be a EEAT situation too.

DR is not important. What's important you have traffic on your website using different methods.

I won't rely totally on Google, as it gets harder and harder every year. I'd look into alternative traffic sources, like: social media, PPC, etc.

It's not wise to put all of your eggs in 1 basket.

Yes, you are right, I would like to have some key words in French that stand out well. The metrics are not good; either no display or very little, very low average CTR... As for EEET, I did not know these criteria... Regarding the quality of the articles and pages, I do not know if Google considers them useful or not for visitors...

I'm sorry to hear about your challenges with getting traffic to your Swiss website. Increasing your Domain Rating (DR) is a positive step, but it sounds like you're still struggling with visibility in search results. Link building can certainly help improve your site's authority and rankings over time, especially if done strategically.
In addition to link building, consider focusing on these areas:

    1. Content Optimization: Ensure your content is high-quality, relevant to your audience, and optimized for relevant keywords.
    2. On-Page SEO: Make sure your meta tags, headings, and internal linking are optimized for search engines.
    3. Local SEO: Since it's a Swiss website, consider optimizing for local search terms and directories.
    4. User Experience: Ensure your website is fast, mobile-friendly, and provides a good user experience.

Sometimes it can take time for SEO efforts to show results, so don't get discouraged. Keep monitoring your analytics, continue building quality links, and improving your site's content and technical SEO aspects. Persistence often pays off in the long run!

Haven't looked into it much, but from the first impression, your page at casinosreviews.ch doesn't match the user intent for "Online casinos in Switzerland."

You're likely competing with the casinos themselves.

Add one benefit to the title, like:

Online casinos in Switzerland: Top Sites Listed

Below is a top of your page in English. There is nothing that would interest me as a player. Keep this info, but throw it lower on the page. Give players what they need first, and avoid promotional fluff.

Its just a dead operation! Also the two other sites in your sig. I would bet if you look into your GSC, you see that your pages getting indexed maybe but over the time the total number of indexed pages and listed keywords is decreasing again and again.

Your GEO niche is way too small! (in example: the estimated search vol. in CH for "casinos en ligne" is 50!!! per month)
Your backlink profil ist **** and spammy (majority of linking domains have some DR but no rankings or traffic)
The content you (everyone) have published is indexed several thousand times already (there is no need to rank it from Google's side again)
There is not a single hint, you could be an expert in your field (EEAT)
Site looks mediocrce in best case
And last but not least, it seems every single site in the serps you demand, has a better offer than you!

Guys do you do some research? You follow up on trends in search and gambling business?
Or do you just think, lets build a **** website and wait until i bath in money?!
Stop acting like its a hobby in one of the most professional online marketing spaces and expecting results!

I am no expert and I mean no offense, but I have to agree with him. All of it makes sense.

I just looked a bit closer. All your content is AI-generated "...".

I would start by modifying it and adding my own insights and personal opinions on casinos, games, bonuses, payments, and country regulations. This is where you can show your knowledge and expertise and make the content useful.

You don't need to explicitly state that you're an expert and have 22 other similar experts who test all casinos, buttons, mobile apps, SSL certificates, etc. This BS won't help.

Stuffing the page with a bunch of local keywords, entities, and LSIs also won't help. It might, but not for long. At some point, you'll get smashed because there is no value in the content. It just tells the same old story, and also tells Google that you're trying to optimize the page for search engines, not people.

And if at some point you added quite a few similar quality pages as you have now and Google marked them as low quality - it will be hard to rank in future, no matter who writes the new content. Be careful.

I've done it once with one of my sites and i still see "2023" in meta titles to this day. Google doesn't visit the site anymore.

    ---

Take that conclusion off at least. That bot is a liar. Legal CH casinos don't take bitcoins..., lol
