Default Affstars Non-payment - affiliates Scam

I have been working with affstars for several years now.
There were always delayed with the payment but in the past they eventually pay all invoices.
But now I have been strangling to get payment for November and January without success. It seems that they just disappear, at first I got answers that it will go out any day, but lately I can’t reach them at all (No answers by email, skype or phone).
I strongly suggest not working with this group at all or only working with them on Pre-paid budget.

Hi I have the same problem there,

I worked with them for the past few years and had no problems with them but now they haven't paid me for more than a year for more than 5000$, I thought I could trust them since I met the last affiliate manager at the previous London Affiliate Conference.

But my successive affiliate managers, I counted 3 in the past few month, made me the same worthless promise each month, to pay me at the end of the month. I feel that they just buy time.

I think I shoulnd't be the only one with this problem

Same here mate, they owe us more than $5K and i have talked with others to which they owe much more.

I have talked with several affiliates during the last few days and I got the same story from everyone else.

The company behind Affstars is Pariplay, the latest rumors are that they are planning to close affstars and stay with Pariplay so I am strongly recommending not working with Pariplay, as they might close one business and open another one by a different name.

The ones behind Pariplay/affstars: Gili Lisani (CEO) and Yair Goldfinger (Investor) do not help and act as this is not related to them in any way. None of the affiliate managers in Affstars, or even Gili himself are answering their phones (office or mobile).

If you have similar experience with them, please post it here.

What I heard was that one of the founders and key executives left about 5 months ago over disagreements with the way the business was being run. Since then I have heard that their business has deteriorated.

So much of this business is based on trust so Im always cautious when there is this kind of internal turmoil as imho it never ends well.

I promote them on 1 or 2 sites but have never earned enough to request a payment as I am only up to about $60.00...but it is somewhat worrying reading 3 negative posts...so I guess it is another one that must come down...

    clarification:
Although Wintingo.com is powered by both Pariplay and Microgaming they have nothing to do with the recent scam! They process the funds themselves and I have never had a problem with them. I always got payment on time!

Before I removed these guys I sent an email querying a small payment they owed me, but it was more a case of seeing whether I would get a response as the amount was only about $95.00, and of course I didn't get a response, so I am now pleased to say there is no trace of them on any of my sites anymore.

I would like to clarify that Tom no longer works for MMG or any company affiliated with them. I have worked closely with Tom for most of his time there and he was always the most helpful guys. Honest and upfront about everything that he could be

People don't group everyone as "sharks" or "bad people" because they worked for company X, at the end of the day they are only employees and not decision makers.

As for me I have sent traffic, and sometimes struggled getting paid, and sometimes had to wait long to get paid, but in the end I got paid, sorry to hear others have had such a bad experience.

    Hi Tom
Thanks for taking the trouble to come in and make a post and I am glad to hear that you had nothing to do with what is going on there now, and if I implied that you were behind it , then please accept my apologies - My intention was not to run you down in anyway - I was just saying that you introduced me to the Aff program and as the person above said - it does not make an employee a bad person just because they worked at a particular program...so again, if I came across as offensive then I sincerely apologize.

    Default Similar...

thing here; got an email saying they needed to evaluate my traffic for a while, a few weeks later my account got closed, too. Good thing, I was on CPA.

Unfortunate to say, that my experience with certain affiliate programs differ mostly -let`s say- "by region"...
