affiliate raises payment issue (to be archived)

Not everthing is fine about this Affiliate Program.. Got this Mail

Dear Affiliate
We are writing to inform you that there are only 2 players attached to your account. We encourage you to get more players to your affiliate account or we will have to look into closing your affiliate account

I am pretty sure, the email was accidentally sent out because the relevant affiliate manager had simply had a very bad day, lovesickness, a hangover or something like that, and now the optimum solution can be found.

This must never happen again.

If one person has one bad day, this will not inevitably affect the complete company.

So Stargames has a quota?

I just took another look at the terms again in case I had missed it before, and I did NOT see a quota anywhere in the terms.

So why is ANY affiliate in jeopardy of losing their account by not meeting a quota that is NOT defined in the terms?

our affiliate manager has reported very quickly and we were able to resolve the matter positively. Outstanding payments will be made with the next billing.

Hi Rick,

This email was sent but the meaning of the content had nothing to do with a quota, it was part of a discussion that took place months ago, that was not resolved until yesterday.

I am so happy for GPWA and this forum, it just shows that this forum is a great place for affiliates to come resolve issues. And here at StarGames just like everywhere else we see there is always room for improvement!

I am just glad that I am here!! I love my job that I can help assist and help get everyone back on track.

I am not real sure how that statement, which is very clear to anyone that reads it, does not have anything to do with a quota, but for now you say it doesn't.

A statement like that might make sense if there were a special deal in place for higher commissions etc that might have been tied in to a quota arrangement.

I never talk about a quata or somethink else, only a mail i got from Stargames. What is now your problem? Nicole helps me to get fast a contact to my Account Manager and we resolved any mistakes. thats all!!!

One can take a leaf out of her book. I have seen other affiliate programs without donating a solution and representatives, only responding after days or weeks and only if there is no alternative.

Conclusion: Nicole is happy, marvel is happy, most readers are happy, i am happy, the atmosphere was even so good.

So who wants a piece of cake? Please raise your hands!

Are we to assume now what was posted as being sent in email to an affiliate, "get more players or we will have to look into closing your affiliate account" was NOT actually sent to the affiliate?

Or was this said as a joke?

Maybe our written English is not good enough.

Nicole is a decent woman, anything else would be nonsense, and the issue was resolved from Star Games lightning fast.

Without problems and lightning fast!
Resolved!

I can give the readers some examples "upstairs", where the opposite is the case!

As i can read all people found the solution to be positive with only one uninvolved person feeling there must be still a problem.

Generating bad atmospheres, forced without specific need, in the area of Nicole, one of the best affiliate program representative i have ever seen in this forum, that is driving me insane and i stand by that.

Some of you might sleep a bit longer.

Trying to draw attention to other threads has zero to do with getting my questions answered.

I asked simple and specific questions, and you are the only one trying to turn it into a situation of bad atmosphere.

Someone posted an email they recieved as fact, and if in FACT it was sent as shown, I would like to have an explanation of said email.
