Affiliate / Operator CRM? - Repeated questions

I am absolutely shocked that affiliate programs are still not working with any form of a CRM system. Every time there is a new manager the same questions get asked .....
- tell me about your business
- what are your geos
- what deals do you want
- what is your traffic
- how do you generate traffic

Maybe even a spreadsheet as a basic CRM would work for them. Some of these programs really need to get their act together!

I only have a couple programs who disclose the countries to us. Thankfully we have our own physical servers so can get the data that way.

and why is it so difficult to get a list of all geos each program accept ?
They are always very quick to ask all sorts of questions, but not so quick to answer my questions...

This is also very true. Ask a question and get ghosted. I have programs that finally followed up on a request to register that are over a year old.

The quality of AM's seem to have really deteriorated with some programs.

It's usually the same issue with me, Pokerface. You're not alone. If I sign up to any given program and I want to promote their brands, I'll get asked all sorts of questions which I have to answer as best I can. But the trouble is that when a new AM comes along, he or she asks me the same questions all over again. I mean, you'd think that the original AM would have written down your answers somewhere and kept it on file. It's definitely unorganised and affiliates should be better taken care of then that. It's such a debacle.

They want transparency and many provide zero to affiliates.

And any brand that would refuse to answer the list of geo's accepted question, gets placed on the "I'm probably not interested" list.

Sometimes programs can't even answer the question of what software they use for games. Forget asking customer/player service. They refuse to answer that question in almost 100% of cases.

And when the questions become too probing ask this. "If I send you traffic that converts, do you plan on paying for it, or would you rather that traffic went to one of your competitors?"
