    Default Affiliate Edge and AffPower

There have been various threads in which there has been speculation regarding a relationship between Affiliate Edge and AffPower. The purpose of this post is to share information provided by Affiliate Edge regarding its relationship with AffPower.

I quote below a relevant snippet from an email message I received from Stuart Ferster, one of the two brothers currently managing Affiliate Edge, using the email address [email protected]:

Quote Originally Posted by Email from Stuart Ferster sent to Michael Corfman

The consultants were NOT aff power workers. Not at all. 2 of them were there to chase the debt, one of those 2 also does work for xxxxxx the software provider for Aff Power. We received 2 payments in the very early stage from Aff Power Limited to fund the business We needed this as our banks were frozen and in yyyyyy's name only and the courts had told us it was a 2 week process [to gain control of the funds], by which point it would have been the new year.

This was a processor paying them as our banks were frozen and we had a Christmas deadline to pay staff and players. Aff Power happened to use the same processor and they had a connection there thankfully. No more funds since have come from there.
We did not break any money laundering laws in doing so. The consultants barring two that i had to bring back (who come once a month for a week) have left. We promised the staff we would not close down. We promised them there jobs were safe. They are.
I have also been forwarded an email received from the same [email protected] address by another affiliate that touches on the relationship between Affiliate Edge and Affpower:

Quote Originally Posted by Email from [email protected] sent to another affiliate

So, from these email messages, we can see Affiliate Edge asserts:

    1) That staff members of the parent company of Aff Power and/or a staff member of an Aff Power software provider were engaged to provide consulting services to them related to debt collection.

    2) That they have received funding twice from Aff Power Limited in the early stages, but not thereafter.

    3) That they share payment processors with Aff Power.

    4) That the relationship they have is with the parent company of Aff Power and not with Aff Power itself.

We all know what stand up and honest guys aff power and anyone that does business with them are.. and the parent company? you mean holding company in case they ever need to burn the existing one down to the ground?

Did he address the Shaving? or the lowered comms to 10%?

Glad i never built up a player base with these guys, I'm sure there are plenty who want to comment but won't in fear of losing comms owed

Stuart has told me he is committed to making sure affiliates receive the proper payment in accordance with their terms, and has stated he agrees there have been issues on that front and that they are being addressed. And there are signs that at least some affiliates have received payments consistent with what Stuart has said to me. This is an area where I think time will tell.

In terms of the lowered commissions if you don't meet the newly installed quota, that seems to be a firm decision. I have just made a post on that topic. You can see it here:

    Your thoughts are completely right.

It makes no difference, if there is any collusion or link directly to the Boss or to the Caporegime "only", where Fernanda terrorizes the industry as a 24/7 liar machine.

It's still the same Mafia Crime Family.

Affiliate Edge is guilty of all charges.

Guilty of fraud, data [stats] manipulation, knowingly accomplices of hacking and computer sabotage on hundreds if not thousands of websites, deception and ... what leads to lifelong banishment on Klingon penal asteroid planet Rura Penthe ... Affiliate Edge is guilty of high treason, because they collaborated with the enemy of all enemies, the AffPower Crime Family on the Boss and/or probably on the Underboss level.

For my part, whether it is the Affpower Mother or the daughter house Affpower lol, they are definitely banned from my sites.
When I see the name, I do not hesitate.

I hope that all affiliates will receive their money, because everyone works hard.

There was shaving going on and lowered comms? Is this recent or an ongoing thing at Affiliate Edge ? I have not been following this to closely and am owed some cash. I wonder how much i am owed if we have been shaved and screwed.

I just got this email today... seems like another important figure is leaving the company

It is with a heavy heart, that I have come to say, that my time with AffiliateEdge is up.
It’s been a fantastic journey with good times and bad, but mostly good. I’ve met some great people over the 8+ years both within AE Towers and when dealing with affiliates. It’s great to see affiliates grow and flourish in an affiliate program and I’ve made some long lasting friendships and possibly some enemies too. Either way, you’ve all been a great help in the success that is AE and I’d like to thank each and every one of you for helping to make my job a fun and enjoyable one.

So the time has come to say my final goodbyes and also introduce you to the new guy. Taking over from me will be Darren Brenner, who is an extremely capable individual and has been in the industry for many years. You are in safe hands and you can reach him on the following email...

    Email: [email protected]

Thanks again for all your hard work and support over the years, it’s been much appreciated. I hope to see you all around someday soon on the conference scene or virtually. Unfortunately I won't see any replies to this email but my Skype is below.

Good luck and all the best for the future.

Unfortunately, Martyn is unable to access any replies that his email received.

However, he did list his Skype ID which is: M8eco26 and ask that people contact him there.

Like many other Affiliate Managers, I've learned a lot from Martyn and hope to see him back in the game soon. I think many affiliates could do a lot worse right now than to get in touch with Martyn, give him your support and find out where he'll be next because I'm certain that if it's another operator it will become a brand that you'll want to promote.
